Passing a recognised advanced driving test will show your insurer that you have advanced driving skills and a thorough knowledge of the Highway Code.
This in turn means you are less likely to be involved in an accidental damage claim.
Be aware though, this in no way lowers the risk of theft or malicious damages (vandalism) claims.
Also, advanced drivers are ‘less likely’ to be involved in, not immune from car accidents.
Always check with insurers which advanced driving tests (if any) they recognise as their is no set standard at the time of writing.
